Frequently Asked Questions

What should I bring to the lessons?

You need skis, boots, a helmet, and proper snow clothing. If you don’t have the equipment, you can rent it from our rental service near the Gallo Cedrone Ski and Snowboard School. A valid ski pass is also required to access the ski lifts.

Where is the meeting point for the lessons?

The meeting point is at the Gallo Cedrone Ski and Snowboard School in Bormio. We recommend arriving a few minutes before the lesson starts to allow the instructors to organize the group efficiently and start on time.

What happens if I’m placed in the wrong skill group?

If possible and depending on group size, the instructor will move you to a more suitable group.

What are the skill levels?

First time: I have never skied before.
• Beginner: Snowplough turns.
• Basic: Snowplough turns transitioning to parallel skiing.
• Intermediate: Parallel skiing with pole planting on medium slopes.
• Advanced: Carving turns on all terrains.

How can I book a course?

Do I need previous skiing experience?

No, previous experience is not required. The course is designed for both beginners and those with some lessons under their belt. Our qualified instructors tailor lessons to the group’s skill level, ensuring everyone learns while having fun.

What are the cancellation policies?

Group and/or private lessons that are interrupted or canceled due to reasons not attributable to the school will not be refunded, rescheduled, or converted into other solutions.
Lessons are held in all weather conditions.
Please arrive on time, as delays cannot be compensated. Lessons can be canceled as long as notice is given to our school or by phone at least 24 hours before the scheduled date.
Lessons canceled beyond this deadline must still be paid in full.
