What should children bring to participate in the lessons?

Children need skis, ski boots, a helmet, and appropriate snow clothing. If you don’t have the equipment, you can rent it from our rental shop near the Gallo Cedrone Ski and Snowboard School. A valid ski pass is also required to access the lifts.

Where is the meeting point for the lessons?

The meeting point is at the Gallo Cedrone Ski and Snowboard School in Bormio. We recommend arriving a few minutes before the lesson starts to allow the instructors to organize the group efficiently and start on time.

What happens if a skier is placed in the wrong skill level class?

If possible and if the group size allows, the instructor will move the skier to a more suitable group.

What are the skill levels?

• First Timer: I’ve never skied before.
• Beginner: Snowplow turns.
• Basic: Snowplow turns with an introduction to parallel skiing.
• Intermediate: Parallel turns with pole planting on medium slopes.
• Advanced: Carving turns on all terrains.

What are the cancellation terms?

Group and/or private lessons interrupted or canceled for reasons not attributable to the school will not be refunded, rescheduled, or converted into other options. Lessons are held in all weather conditions.
We kindly ask you to arrive on time for your lesson, as delays cannot be recovered. Lessons can be canceled as long as you notify us at our school or by phone at least 24 hours in advance.
Lessons canceled after this deadline must still be paid for.
